The Thin Blue Line of Michigan could and did help me greatly. My medical expenses in addition to the travel to the University of Michigan and Doctor appointments was becoming overwhelming. The Thin Blue Line of Michigan stepped up with a monthly monetary award that was very welcome. I also received legal assistance in addition to emotional support through phone calls and notes. That meant a lot! The monthly award exceeded my expectations. The organization also assisted me in other areas such as private insurance companies when they gave me the run around. After being off work with an injury, especially for a long period of time others in this profession seem to forget about you, not the Thin Blue Line of Michigan.
