HELP US HELP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY November 5, 2020 09:07

Attention all Members/Supporters of the Thin Blue Line of Michigan. We have been engaged in Assisting Michigan's Public Safety Officer s'/First Responders and their families for over 21 years. To date with your support we have assisted 754 families in their time of need.

At the beginning of this year, our fund-raising calendar was full of our many annual events. Unfortunately, ALL our events have been cancelled, due to COVID-19 restrictions. This funding for our Mission helps Public Safety Officers and their families when they are sick, injured, disabled, or killed in the line of duty.

The Executive Board suggested we send out an Appeal for your assistance in helping us help our organization overcome this deficit.

Raising money for Public Safety Officers is a challenge in good times not alone these times where you have been villainized and attacked for having a job that serves to protect our communities.

As a result of these difficult times, we are requesting your ONE TIME donation to help us reach our goal of replacing these needed funds. Your donation is tax deductible and can be made one of the following ways:

Thanks Bath City Roller Girls! April 9, 2018 16:15

Thanks to the Bath City Roller Girls for choosing the TBL as the beneficiary of their game on Saturday. I was given a front row seat, and had a blast cheering them on. After some tough jams it was a loss for the Bath City Girls, but hopefully they invite us again so we can celebrate a victory! Thanks again Bath City Roller Girls!

9th Annual Cops n' Clays Charity Shoot August 3, 2017 16:25

The Thin Blue Line would like to extend our extreme gratitude to the North Macomb Sportsmen's Club for hosting this amazing event. Every year the directors and members of the Club volunteer and put immense effort into fundraising for the public safety community, and their effort shows!

This year the event boasted 27 teams of shooters, who were blessed with a sunny day and mild heat (for July at least). Scott and I were in attendance, and had a blast enjoying the food, friends, and the spirit of support that radiates from the club's community.

Thanks again to all of the club members who worked to make the event possible, and to everyone who attended and had a great competition! See you all next year!

"Blessed are the Peacemakers....." October 17, 2016 11:48

The majority of the Blog Posts made are about the delivery of services to Michigan’s Public Safety community.

I wanted to share this story. The majority of the citizens we serve reflect the action taken by those involved in making this kind acknowledgement possible.

Father Mike Woempner of the St. Mary Queen of Peace in Kingsford, Michigan made the following remarks to his parishioners and the showing of support for law enforcement became evident.

“We’re living in a society where the very people we depend on to defend and protect us are coming under criticism and attack”

“Some of these men and women are being targeted for physical injury or worse “

“We’ve all read reports of how protests and demonstrations are aimed at the men and women who risk their lives to keep us safe”

“If the very people who are criticizing and demonstrating against law enforcement were to be threatened “Father Woempner said “they would not only want but expect law enforcement to intercede.

From those remarks the Parishioners of St. Mary Queen of Peace initiated an idea that would show support for law enforcement. Local businesses were contacted and BK Enterprises and Sherwood signs and Graphic Design of Crystal Falls who produced a vanity license plate, decals for which a free will donation will be taken and the proceeds of which will be donated to the Thin Blue Line of Michigan !

From the Thin Blue Line Office, thank you for the kind words, thoughts and prayers for Michigan’s Public Safety Officers and their families. God Bless.
